UENO GOURMET AG was founded in Uster ZH in 2010 by Yoshiko Ueno-Müller and Jörg Müller. Already in 2005 we established the sister company UENO GOURMET GmbH in Kronberg, Germany. Following the „local to local“- principle we deliver selected products and information about Japanese culinary culture directly from producers to the European gastronomy and consumer. We import exclusively premium saké and spices of top quality with aroma considerate methods of transport (air freight or cooled sea freight). Besides distribution to gastronomy and our web shop we organize presentations and degustations within the theme: "East meets West". In other words: Premium saké meets European Grand Cuisine. We are offering consultancy and seminars for sommeliers and gastronomy. Yoshiko Ueno-Müller is SAKE SAMURAI and Mistress of Sake-Tasting (Brewing Society of Japan). Jörg Müller is saké sommelier and wine consultant. We are members of the Sommelier Union Germany and Slow Food.
